For this Hugowatches.co review, we must thank Oscar, one of the blog's readers, who purchased a Rolex replica from this website and wanted to share his experience with us. As you may or may not know, this is not the first time I come across these guys. I see that they have a somewhat different name now, their previous address being shut down.

I want to share with you and all your blog readers my experience with Hugowatches.co. I was looking around for a Swiss Rolex replica and I came across this seller. The website looked very professional and won me over. I started browsing around and I decided to buy this green Submariner.
It looked great in the pictures, almost too good, but I saw their logo on it and I also spoke to a representative and he told me that they have their own factory where they produce their watches instead of reselling them, so I gave them credit.
I paid for the watch, shipping was free and about three weeks later, I received it. Even though it took a long time to get my hands on it, I was pleasantly surprised to see it was inside a Rolex branded watch box.

I removed the plastic immediately and put it on my wrist. This is when I got disappointed. The face is not centered, there are some spots on the bracelet and it feels cheap. This is the first time I buy a Rolex replica but I don't think it should feel like this, I paid almost 600 dollars for it.
I wrote them an email, asking for my money back because I was afraid that if I ask for another watch, quality will be the same. They said a refund or exchange was out of the question because I removed the plastic and it has signs of wear. I sent them another email, but they stopped answering.
I took it to a watchmaker and he did a good job on the dial, but it still doesn't feel like a great watch on my hand.
My advice to everyone who reads this is don't buy anything from Hugowatches!! I wish I knew your blog before ordering, but now it's too late. I would still like to have a Rolex Submariner replica, but it's hard for me to trust anyone after all this. Can you recommend me a better site, maybe not that expensive?

Thank you Oscar for taking the time to share your experience with us! I am very sorry to hear about all this but to be honest, I'm not surprised. You can read another Hugowatches.co review here (user submitted as well, but the name was slightly different, Hugowatches.com) and see that Chad's replica wasn't that great, either.
Besides the quality, the biggest problem with these guys is the return policy. Even with professional sellers, problems occur from time to time, so a fair refund/exchange policy goes a long way. Hugowatches only gives you 3 days to let them know about a problem and you can't get your money back (or exchange the goods) if you remove the plastic wrapper or, in their own words, even if you wear it.
And another thing, even though they say that all their watches are Swiss, I found this on the FAQ page: “all pictures displayed at our online replica watch store are actual pictures of our Japanese replica watches offered for sale at our store”. So which is it? Are their replicas Swiss or Japanese? I doubt they have their own factory and I'd be willing to bet that their replicas have nothing Japanese or Swiss inside.
